L-RAMP Student Project Fund (2009-'10)

 L-RAMP (Lemelson Recognition and Mentoring Programme) is a non-profit initiative of IIT-Madras and Rural Innovations Network (RIN) and supported by The Lemelson Foundation, USA. VITTBI along with L-RAMP encourages students to work on socially relevant problems and find sustainable solutions having social impact.

Final year or pre-final year B.Tech, M.Tech., M.Sc., B.Sc. students and Research scholars of VIT University are eligible to apply.

L-RAMP Innovation Support

 L-RAMP recognizes, connects, mentors and funds ideas that seek to serve the rural poor, with a focus on ideas in agriculture, water, energy, dairy and allied health sector.

With a complementary set of core competencies in technology and business mentoring. L-RAMP provides significant and timely support to give innovations a firm footing through their Innovation Support of up to Rs. 25 lakhs.

Faculty, Students or any independent innovator is eligible to apply.
