Mr. Gideon V Praveen, a research scholar working in the Biomedical engineering under the guidance of
Dr.Lazar Mathew, Dean, School of Biotechnology, Chemical and Bio Medical Engg , VIT University was facilitated to seek
“Innovation Fellowship from L-RAMP”. L-RAMP has sanctioned Rs.9.00 Lakhs (Rs.2.70 Lakhs towards
fellowship and Rs.6.30 Lakhs towards funding research & development activities).
The work will focus on developing a “Percutaneous aortic valve stent” to bring down the cost of cardiac therapy.
