TIFAC – TCFA @ VIT-TBI

VITTBI is one of the agencies identified by TIFAC as a ‘Technology Commercialisation and Facilitation Agency’ to facilitate Innovator to commercialise their technologies. This is under ‘Technology Refinement and Marketing Assistance (TREMAP) program of TIFAC.

Objective:- To facilitate linkages of developed products and innovative technologies (developed by individual innovators) with market.

Scope:- Only those technologies (innovations) would be considered where at least the proto type model of the innovation is already developed and the innovator himself is not interested in undertaking its refinement or putting up a pilot / commercial plant. Assessment (technical and economic) of technologies / products for their marketability and potential to facilitate their linkages with market. Providing support and facilitating patenting of potential technologies in India in essential cases on case to case basis. Refinement of technology (if required) To bring out a technology package in association of the expert /partner agencies, innovator etc.
